Half Moment Photography is the creative work of Adam Ehrlich, based in South Florida. What began as a serious hobby and a love for capturing meaningful moments has grown into a passion for documenting movement, emotion, and the quiet beauty that often exists in between the big moments.

While we photograph a variety of subjects, we are especially drawn to the artistry of dance and performance. The joy in movement and dance tells stories that words cannot, and capturing those fleeting moments on stage - the leap, the breath before the music begins, the expressions as the final note fades - is where we feel the most at home behind the camera.

Half Moment reflects what we love most about photography - the little slice of time between the actual pose and where the real moment lies. The smile someone didn’t mean to make, the moment before she left the ground that was really the ultimate shot, the amazed joy when the performance is over and she realizes that she utterly nailed it… these are what we are here to capture for you.

As dance parents ourselves, we understand how meaningful these moments are for families and studios. Being part of this community gives us a unique appreciation for the dedication, discipline, heart and sacrifice that dancers and parents put into every day, every performance.

Our goal is simple: to create images that feel authentic, artistic and timeless - photographs that dancers, families, and studios will treasure long after the performance ends.
